Description
We invite applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the College's Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. This is a full-time, 9-month appointment within the Health Sciences division anticipated to begin August 2025.

The hired individual may be expected to teach a variety of courses in the discipline as assigned.

Opportunities and responsibilities of the position include:
  • Availability to teach in both the classroom and laboratory settings, as well as potential for instructing in other disciplines
  • Participation in curriculum assessment and development to maintain currency of content and alignment with best practices
  • Engagement in department-level projects and teams related to program review and strategic planning

    Requirements
  • Degree earned to practice Physical Therapy
  • Current Illinois Physical Therapist license
  • Documented 3 years of full-time post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy

    THIS POSITION IS BASED IN NORMAL, IL AND REQUIRES ON-CAMPUS/IN-PERSON PRESENCE.

    Anticipated starting salary range for this 9-month position is $47,877 - $64,389.
