Lecturer, Respiratory Care - Health Professions - Steubenville (Term)

Summary of Position
supports the respiratory care program's effectiveness, continuous improvement, accreditation and assessment processes, and ensures compliance with accreditation standards. Coordinates student clinical experiences, fostering learning, engagement, and professional development to prepare graduates for success in the respiratory care field. May serve as director of clinical education (DCE) and travel to clinical sites as needed. Participates in service and engagement activities that support the program, department, college, and university. Faculty members are expected to maintain a consistent, in-person presence on location throughout the standard work week.
Position Information
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days.
Primary Location: Steubenville. Some travel to clinical sites as needed.
Qualifications and Competencies
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials; valid driver's license.
Sponsorship: Not eligible
Minimum Qualifications: At least a bachelor's degree in respiratory care or a health-related field; three or more years of clinical experience in respiratory care; and a valid driver's license.
