GED Chief Examiner - PT

The Youth Empowerment Program is seeking a qualified and dedicated GED Chief Examiner to oversee the secure and fair administration of the GED testing program. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the testing process, ensuring compliance with state and GED Testing Service policies, and supporting test takers throughout their GED journey.

The Chief Examiner will supervise all aspects of test delivery, maintain security protocols, and serve as the primary point of contact for staff and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic work schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and fluctuates with testing demand.

Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure the secure, fair administration of GED exams in compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate testing sessions, including candidate registration and check-in.
  • Maintain test security and promptly address any irregularities or incidents.
  • Train and supervise testing staff on GED testing protocols and updates.
  • Ensure a professional, distraction-free testing environment for all candidates.
  • Manage and maintain accurate candidate records and secure handling of test materials.
  • Serve as the primary contact for test takers, staff, and stakeholders, providing clear guidance and support.


Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience:
  • At least two years of administrative experience in an office environment
  • Proficiency with standard office software applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $25 per hour for up to 10 hours per week
