The University of Arizona College of Medicine â€" Phoenix seeks an accomplished MD, PhD, or MD/PhD investigator specializing in child and adolescent health research to join the Phoenix Children's Research Institute. The successful candidate will lead a multi-investigator, interdisciplinary program, secure extramural funding, publish in high-impact journals, and contribute to the Department's education, training, and service missions.

Research is supported by state-of-the-art facilities and core services, with opportunities for collaboration across the College, Phoenix Children's, and affiliates, including the Translational Cardiovascular Research Center, Norton Thoracic Institute, Barrow Neurological Institute, Center for Applied NanoBioscience and Medicine, Translational Genomics Research Institute, and Arizona State University.

The College anchors the 28-acre Phoenix Bioscience Core, fostering engagement, innovation, and clinical integration across Greater Phoenix.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain a competitive, federally funded research program.
  • Publish in leading journals.
  • Collaborate with faculty and partner institutions.
  • Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and service.
  • Participate in external professional activities.

    Minimum Qualifications
  • MD, PhD, or MD/PhD (or equivalent).
  • Eligible for UA faculty appointment (assistant professor or higher).
  • Eligible for Phoenix Children's employment.
  • Strong scholarly record, sustained extramural funding as PI, and program/mentorship experience.
